ACEC GEORGIA ADDS MICHAEL PLANER TO 2016-2017 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Planer will be instrumental in guiding the direction of ACEC of Georgia.

PES Structural Engineers, Inc. announced today that Michael Planer, PE, President and COO, will serve on the 2016-2017 Board of Directors of ACEC Georgia. Planer will be working with other design professionals from across the State representing firms such as Thomas & Hutton, Croy Engineering, and AECOM among others.

Michael brings over 25 years of experience in the consulting engineering field to the ACEC GA Board. His structural expertise includes the design of systems requiring steel, masonry, timber, prestress concrete and reinforced concrete members. In addition to his participation with ACEC GA, he’s an active member of both the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia and the Council of American Structural Engineers.

Upon joining the incoming board, Michael said, “I look forward to helping ACEC of Georgia continue its goal of promoting good business practices and risk management for the design industry.”
