About Project

Emory Point is a mixed use development located in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta, close to Emory University, Emory Healthcare and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Continuing with the success of Phase I, PES began the design of phase II of the Emory Point development in 2011. The project consists of a series of mixed use buildings totaling over 435,000 SF with ground-floor retail including a premier organic grocery store, a precast parking deck, and over 300 apartments consisting of post-tensioned podium slabs and wood framing. Building D1 and D2 each consist of five-stories of Type III residential construction on a post-tensioned podium slab above retail. Both buildings include outdoor courtyards with a pool and indoor amenities such as a theater, clubroom, and a yoga studio. Building F is four-stories of Type III residential construction adjacent to an eight-story precast parking deck overlooking the Emory campus. The project also includes two seventy-five foot span steel pedestrian bridges connecting the apartments to the parking deck.
