Last August we were pleased to welcome Nathan Foust, P.E. to our West Hartford, CT., New England regional office. Nathan hails from Nashville, TN where he grew up and is a Volunteer, graduating from the University of Tennessee, earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a minor in German.
Nathan continued his education at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving his master’s degree in structural engineering.
Strong internal and external collaboration practices along with an integrated management approach that values and encourages involvement from young engineers in decision making are a few attributes that attracted Nathan to PES, along with a forward thinking and innovative culture.
Nathan has a passion for engineering that seeks to make a positive social and environmental impact. This passion has gained him much experience in a wide variety of structural systems along with an interest in mass timber, and unique and atypical conditions that require a highly complex structural analysis. As a project engineer, Nathan has managed many different project types and can clearly communicate design and details with project owners and design partners. Nathan was a featured speaker at the 2016 Tennessee Engineers’ Conference, where he presented an Introduction to Cross-Laminated Timber Construction.
Nathan enjoys reading, traveling, exploring, and watching soccer.
Welcome to New England Nathan, you will have much to explore!
