About Project

In order to modernize the facility that opened in 1972, PES teamed up with Croft and Associates and Hogan Construction to renovate and expand the Cobb County Civic Center, providing the opportunity to support more and varied types of events including shows and meetings as well as increased rental revenues for the county.

The existing 31,000 square foot facility was upgraded to meet modern codes and included a new kitchen to support large events, break out meeting rooms, and expanded restroom capacity.

The 42,000 square foot, two-story addition included a large pre-function area to serve both Hudgins Hall and the adjacent Jennie T. Anderson Theater, new offices and ticketing booths, and a new large meeting room that can be subdivided.
