GE’s Ellisville location is the second composite plant in the state of Mississippi. As the World’s leading supplier of aircraft engines, their facility manufactures and assembles new composite components unique to the aviation industry and provides the majority of commercial aircraft engines currently in use. This 335,000 SF, one-story assembly facility was designed and constructed utilizing steel framing and precast concrete panels. Design services were also provided for process equipment pit foundations and for 100 foot clear spans to allow mobility of multiple cranes within the manufacturing space.
