Biography
Originally from Brooklyn, Mike’s fascination with towering skylines began right outside his childhood window, where the NYC skyline sparked a lifelong interest in how buildings stand tall. He pursued this passion academically, earning a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State and an M.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
With over eight years of experience specializing in steel and concrete design for high-rise structures—and recognized with multiple Concrete Industry Board Merit Awards—Mike brings a depth of technical expertise and collaborative energy to our team. He’s eager to expand his design experience across new project types and materials at PES.
Beyond engineering, Mike is an avid outdoorsman and adventurer. He enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, and flying planes in his role as a part-time C-130J pilot with the Rhode Island Air National Guard.
