PES recently provided the structural design of a new, 64,800 square foot, three-story medical office building for Northside Hospital. The structural system of the building consisted of steel framing, composite steel beams and slab, steel roof joists, and infilled cold-formed steel stud walls on a slab-on-grade supported by shallow foundations. In addition to the medical office suites, an imaging center is located on the first floor, and a surgery suite is located on the third floor.
