PES provided the structural design of The Porter Portland, a boutique hotel located along Southwest Second Avenue in downtown Portland for the Curio Collection by Hilton Hotels.

Totaling 202,903 square feet, the 16-story hotel utilizes concrete framing, post-tensioned concrete roof slab, post-tensioned elevated floors, and light gauge metal framing supported on drilled pile foundations. Features of the hotel include 300 rooms; 12,500 square feet of meeting space with an additional 5,000 square feet of outdoor terraces; 8,000 square feet of lobby area; and 7,000 square foot dining area.
