Tyler Perry Studios
For over a decade, PES Structural Engineers has been fortunate to provide structural engineering design and consulting services for Tyler Perry Studios (TPS). From the Greenbriar location to Tyler Perry’s newest studio located at Fort McPherson, projects have run the gamut from modifying the façades of existing buildings to designing and constructing a 69,000 square foot, three-story replica of the White House. Our experience with Tyler Perry Studios includes the following:
- 12 purpose-built sounds stages ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to 38,500 square feet
- A one-story Flex Building consisting of 20,000 square feet of space
- 30 film sets including backlot houses, a farmhouse, a strip mall, an airport, façade structures, and the White House
- Rigging analysis for various events held at TPS
- Various modifications of existing buildings
