Welcome Brian Adorno, PE, SE to PES Structural Engineers!

We are thrilled to announce that Brian Adorno, Jr., has joined PES Structural Engineers as a Project Manager in our Atlanta office.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Brian’s passion for structural engineering was born out of a personal and community-defining experience: the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Witnessing the contrast between buildings that withstood the storm and those that didn’t sparked a deep curiosity about structural performance – one that ultimately led him to pursue both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech.

With over 12 years of experience in structural engineering and project leadership, Brian brings a well-rounded perspective and a strong technical foundation to every project. At PES, his primary focus will be within our industrial sector, where he will help lead the design and delivery of manufacturing, distribution, and mission-critical facilities. His expertise in structural systems and collaborative approach make him a valuable asset to our team.

Brian is deeply committed to professional development and the advancement of the engineering community. In addition to his involvement with the Structural Engineers Association of Georgia (SEAoG), he is also an active member of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Having admired PES for some time, Brian was drawn to the firm’s strong culture, collaborative spirit, and forward-thinking vision. He is especially passionate about problem-solving and communication, and thrives in the team-driven environment PES is known for.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Brian to PES,” said Michael Planer, PE, SE, President | Principal at PES. “His depth of experience and commitment to engineering excellence are a perfect match for our team and our clients.”

Outside of work, Brian enjoys tackling an ever-growing list of home renovation projects – though he jokes the list never seems to get any shorter.

Please join us in giving Brian a warm welcome to the PES team!
