Richard Phifer

Richard began his career at PES as a Design Engineer in 2006 after graduating from Southern Polytechnic State University, now Kennesaw State, with a BS in Civil Engineering.

His expertise includes the design of structural systems requiring steel, masonry, prestress concrete, and reinforced concrete members with an emphasis on industrial developments and tilt-up structures.

As a Senior Project Manager, Richard’s responsibilities include maintaining the quality and accuracy of multiple projects and coordinating structural drawings with design/build, architectural drawings, and other disciplines.

A former Machinist Mate Second Class in the United States Navy, Richard lives in Metro Atlanta with his wife, Elizabeth, and enjoys traveling to the beach and the mountains.
