PES is excited to be working with Croft & Associates and the National Park Service on the historic rehabilitation of the Flamingo Visitor Center project in the Everglades National Park in Homestead, Florida.
Recently featured in the National Parks Traveler, the project includes structural improvements to meet 180-mph Miami-Dade County wind standards, a full roofing and canopy replacement, and the complete interior rehabilitation of a museum gallery, classroom, backcountry kiosk, curatorial storage area, medical aid station, law enforcement headquarters, and staff offices.
Currently, under construction, the $8.2 million rehabilitation project is scheduled to be completed in February 2021.
