PES provided the structural design of the new, 64,000 square foot recreation center for the City of Warner Robins. The structure utilized steel framing, bar joist roof framing, metal deck roof sheathing, slab-on-ground, composite steel elevated floors, a masonry shear wall lateral system, and non-load bearing metal stud walls supported on shallow foundations. The facility features four basketball courts that convert to eight volleyball courts and 12 pickleball courts, an indoor walking track, an activity room for classes, three banquet rooms, and two conference rooms.
