PES provided the structural design of a 1,514,040 square foot, one-story build-to-suit distribution center and warehouse in Coweta County, Georgia.

The structural system of the building consisted of steel framing, steel bar joist roof framing with metal deck roof sheathing, slab-on-grade, and load-bearing tilt-up concrete panels supported on shallow foundations.

The building was designed with a clear height of 32’ with bottom of dock below 40’. Additional features of the facility included 10,000 square feet of finished main office space; a 4,400 square foot shipping/receiving office with training room; a 500 square foot truckers lounge; and 600 square feet of tread and product service office.
