PES teamed with Croft and Associates and Carroll Daniel Construction to design YANMAR America’s new training and customer experience in Acworth, Georgia.
The structure utilized steel framing with a composite steel slab for the second floor, steel roof joists and metal roof decking with slab-on-grade supported on shallow foundations.
The almost 50,000 square foot facility features classrooms with dedicated space for each of the business’ product lines: industrial diesel engines and generators, commercial marine diesel engines, agriculture equipment, construction equipment, utility task vehicles and energy systems; an auditorium; museum; gift shop; cantina; office space and meeting space. Outdoor amenities include a customer experience area for product demonstrations.
