PES is currently providing the structural design of the third phase of the Audubon New Haven, a mixed-use multifamily and commercial complex that focuses on improving the existing urban fabric of downtown New Haven.
Phase III consists of a 57 unit residential community totaling 66,000 square feet along with an additional six unit townhome building totaling 10,000 square feet.
The structural system of the apartment building consists of five levels of Type III wood construction, pre-engineered wood roof and floor trusses supported on a mild-reinforced concrete podium.
The townhome structure consists of three levels of Type V wood construction, pre-engineered wood roof and floor trusses supported on wood framed walls.
